Overview

As an IT Solutions Operations Engineer, you ensure the reliability and validated state of centrally managed laboratory and business-critical IT applications in regulated QC and GxP environments. You will partner with QA, CSV, Infrastructure, vendors, and business stakeholders to maintain validated systems and support audits. You’ll focus on keeping systems compliant, available, and fit for purpose across sites, while driving lifecycle management and controlled changes. This is a hands-on role geared toward operational excellence in a global BioPharma Product Testing context.

Responsabilidades

- Provide Level 2/3 operational support for core laboratory and enterprise applications and manage incidents (P1–P4) per ITIL practices
- Conduct regular maintenance, upgrades, patching, preventive maintenance, and health checks
- Monitor applications, databases, and virtualized environments to prevent service disruption
- Ensure systems comply with GxP, data integrity, and internal quality requirements; contribute to CSV activities (IQ/OQ/PQ, risk assessments, data integrity verification)
- Support audits, inspections,



and validation reviews; align with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11
- Coordinate incident, change, problem and exception management; assist root cause analysis and CAPA
- Act as SME for core lab apps (Empower, NuGenesis, LabSolutions; CDS, SDMS as needed) and manage upgrades and lifecycle decisions
- Develop and maintain automation scripts; support automated jobs and scripted maintenance
- Support VM environments; VM image creation and maintenance; leverage PowerShell and scripting for tasks
- Create technical documentation, procedures, validation and audit docs; produce KPIs and service reports related to availability and performance

Requisitos principales

- Regulated (GxP) IT operations experience
- Solid CSV, data integrity, and validation lifecycle understanding
- Hands-on lab application experience (Empower, NuGenesis, LabSolutions or similar)
- PowerShell / scripting proficiency
- Oracle and SQL database knowledge
- Experience with virtualized environments; VM image creation is a plus
- Strong collaboration with QA, CSV, Infrastructure, vendors, and business users
