Overview
In this senior HR leadership role, you shape and execute the people strategy to support business performance, operational excellence and sustainable growth at an industrial, unionized site. You will partner with the Managing Director and senior leaders to translate business plans into HR roadmaps, lead organizational design and culture change, and manage a comprehensive employee lifecycle. You will drive engagement, compliance, and productivity while aligning HR initiatives with regional objectives. This role offers high-impact, on-site leadership across multiple sites and a clear link between people decisions and business outcomes.
Responsabilidades
- Act as strategic HR business partner to the Managing Director and SLT with strong operations presence
- Translate business strategy into HR roadmaps, policies, and initiatives
- Lead organizational design, workforce transformation, and culture change
- Drive engagement, accountability, and performance across the organization
- Lead industrial relations with Works Councils and Trade Unions; own CLA negotiations
- Own end-to-end employee lifecycle strategy: talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance, retention, offboarding
- Strengthen employer branding and employee experience; ensure onboarding and training
- Implement succession planning and internal talent pipelines for key roles
- Lead Total Rewards strategy and budget management; headcount planning and overtime control
- Drive productivity improvements through workforce planning and engagement initiatives
- Ensure robust performance management systems and leadership accountability
- HR contribution to HSE standards and compliance across sites
- Lead HR team (Operations, Payroll, TA, L&D;, Labor Relations) and oversee outsourced services
- Oversee internal communications and change communication
- Anticipate organizational needs and provide timely solutions
Requisitos principales
- University degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- Fluent in English; Spanish native or fluent required
- Senior HR leadership experience in large, multi-site organizations (industrial, mining, manufacturing, or heavy operations)
- Strong background in Spanish labor law, employee relations, and union negotiations
- Experience in multinational, matrix, integral environments
- Track record in culture transformation and change management
- Proven ability to build high-performing HR teams and deliver customer-focused services
- Strong commercial and operational acumen linking people strategy to business outcomes
- Excellent influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on, visible leadership on-site with close connection to operations
- Experience in union/Works Council negotiations and sustainable workforce cost control
