As a Frontend Engineer in Hays’ Barcelona office, you join a Platform team shaping core internal applications used across product squads. You will own and evolve the frontend stack for backoffice apps, delivering scalable, high-performance interfaces. You’ll design reusable UI components, collaborate with product, design and engineering, and drive frontend architecture and best practices. The role focuses on performance, accessibility, and continuous improvement within a modern tech environment. This is a hands-on role with a strong impact on internal digital solutions.

Responsabilidades
- Own frontend development within shared backoffice applications
- Build and ship new features aligned to product/company needs
- Design and maintain reusable UI components and shared libraries
- Integrate frontend with backend services (REST/GraphQL)
- Drive frontend architecture decisions and promote best practices
- Collaborate with product owners, designers and engineers to deliver scalable solutions
- Perform code reviews, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure quality
- Contribute to performance optimisation, accessibility and testing practices
- Support other engineers and help evolve the frontend ecosystem
Requisitos principales
- Experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role
- Strong experience with React (or similar)
- Solid JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Experience creating reusable component libraries and design systems
- Experience integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL) and managing state
- Understanding of performance optimisation, accessibility and testing
- Experience in cross-functional teams
- Agile mindset and experience in iterative environments
- Fluent or advanced level of English
