Overview
In this role you will lead the site warehouse and kitting operations in Spain, ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer-focused logistics. You will guide cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class service aligned with regional and general objectives. You will shape distribution network improvements, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high performance standards. This position offers scope to influence operations across Europe, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, safety, and cost effectiveness. Travel up to 30% and close collaboration with multiple divisions will be key to success.
Responsabilidades
- Build and develop a stable, capable team and support their growth
- Lead employee engagement, talent reviews, and performance evaluations within the area
- Coach and mentor Europe Logistics Operations staff to enable career development and continuous improvement
- Set the direction for Spain's local warehouse, kitting, and distribution to meet service levels
- Collaborate on improving the Stryker distribution network, footprint, processes, and new services to enhance satisfaction and reduce costs
- Ensure activities comply with Medical Device Directives, ISO standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, FCPA, VAT, HSE, and other local/international laws
- Maintain health and safety, regulatory compliance, and internal policies across operations
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and performance
- Monitor Voice of Customer to ensure distribution processes meet needs
- Coordinate with Europe and EEMEA divisions and other sourcing units to maximize service levels
- Oversee physical handling, storage, transportation, and inventory control for products in scope
Requisitos principales
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Materials Management, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or related areas
- 5+ years in multi-shift, automated and labor-intensive distribution/logistics/manufacturing/supply chain
- 7+ years in a people-management role with organizational development experience
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and warehousing setup, capacity planning, and optimization
- Customer service orientation
- Hands-on experience with logistics management, warehousing, fulfillment, inventory, planning, supply chain, order management, and MRP tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Visio and/or MS Project
- Experience with ISO and FDA standards; ability to navigate regulatory requirements
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with IT systems in business processes; Oracle and SAP preferred
- Travel readiness around 30%
