Overview

As a Simulation Software Engineer in the Eurofighter flight-sim domain, you will contribute to creating realistic training simulations and updating models of aircraft equipment. You collaborate with an international combat simulation team to derive system requirements, implement software in C++ and Ada, and run comprehensive tests. You’ll develop test tools, coordinate with partners, and maintain documentation within Airbus processes. This role offers hands-on impact in high-fidelity simulation across a multicultural setting.

Responsabilidades

- Derive system requirements from operational needs for new simulator features
- Update and maintain simulation models of aircraft equipment
- Implement software components in C++ and Ada
- Create and execute unit, system and acceptance tests (C++/Python, Jenkins)
- Perform integration testing and Software Configuration Management
- Develop tools for test & simulation systems (e.g., Code/ICD Generators)




- Coordinate development with international partners and customers
- Produce documentation according to company processes

Requisitos principales

- Software design and testing experience
- Procedural and object-oriented programming
- Unit, system, and software integration testing experience
- English documentation experience following SW lifecycle processes
- Experience with DOORS, C++, Ada 95, QML, OpenGL
- Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell
- Linux advanced proficiency
- Jenkins CI/CD experience (beneficial)
- Git version control (3rd gen)
- Networking protocols (TCP/IP, RS422, 1553)
- Experience in avionics/simulation domain beneficial
- Proactive, independent work style
- Strong analytical, structured thinking
- Excellent English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel occasionally within EU
- Eurofighter program experience beneficial
