Overview

Join AXA’s cyber defense team as the Senior Email Gateway Engineer. You will shape the Secure Email product by guiding strategy, roadmaps, and security-driven improvements, influencing across Group Security and AXA entities. You’ll lead technical discussions, drive incident resolution, and ensure seamless email delivery within AXA’s general environment. This role combines hands-on security with cross-functional leadership to support large-scale digital security initiatives. You’ll be at the heart of AXA’s mission to protect customers and enable secure, scalable communication.

Responsabilidades

- Advise product management on strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for the Secure Email product
- Lead and support technical discussions with Group Security on product topics
- Drive policy configurations, security reporting requirements, performance improvements, automation, and new features for the proxy product
- Support the BAU service provider (Cap Gemini) on level 3 activities and coordinate with L2 teams




- Lead incident resolution for web gateway daily operations
- Assess and configure gateways for new customer demands to meet needs
- Prepare technical documentation and procedures for projects and BAU teams
- Analyze email activity for security purposes
- Lead integration of the email gateway with the overall AXA environment
- Present product strategy to C-level stakeholders and collaborate with CyberDefense, project teams, vendors, and workplace support

Requisitos principales

- Good technical knowledge in cybersecurity
- IT standard technologies: DNS, Firewalling, Antimalware
- +5 years experience in technical IT positions
- English communication skills
- Open mindset with strong interpersonal relationships and curiosity
