Overview

In this Analytics Engineer role, you’ll shape critical data models and end-to-end data pipelines to empower decision-making across Preply’s data-driven platform. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver accurate, scalable datasets and robust analytics capabilities. You’ll own the BI layer and drive governance, quality, and documentation to support rapid growth and personalized learning experiences. This is a chance to impact product decisions and experimentation at a integral scale.

Responsabilidades

- Architect and evolve complex data models for clarity, scalability, and reliability
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for a multi-terabyte ecosystem
- Own and enhance the BI layer (Looker/LookML) for self-service analytics
- Provide technical leadership with data science teams to optimize workflows and governance
- Promote engineering best practices: version control,



CI/CD for analytics, automated data quality monitoring
- Ensure data reliability, cleanliness, accuracy, and thorough documentation for decision-making
- Influence company-wide data strategies supporting growth, experimentation, and personalization initiatives

Requisitos principales

- 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related fields
- Expert SQL and Python with proven data modeling experience
- Strong understanding of data governance, scalable self-service analytics, and modeling best practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills
- Proven ability to identify problems and deliver innovative data-driven solutions
- Strategic mindset, creativity, initiative in evaluating cutting-edge solutions
- Fluent English (C1 or higher) with ability to articulate complex data concepts
