In this Engineering Manager role, you will lead and grow a team while staying close to impactful work, shaping AI-native approaches across the product. You’ll help reimagine software design for AI-powered workflows that improve real business outcomes. You’ll partner with the business to translate problems into engineering initiatives and coach engineers to reach their full potential. This is a hands-on leadership position at a fast-growing SaaS company with a strong product impact and a clear AI-driven vision.

Responsabilidades

- Lead and grow the engineering team, including hiring and developing talent
- Collaborate on roadmaps by learning the business and customer journeys
- Review RFCs and push for efficient, high-quality implementations
- Coordinate initiatives across teams to align platform and services
- Drive the shift to AI-native product development and safe, auditable AI workflows
- Conduct regular 1:1s focused on individual growth and well-being
- Partner with other engineering managers to coordinate cross-team efforts




- Set examples for AI-centric practices and create space for experimentation and learning
- Contribute to design of scalable APIs and integration efforts
- Engage with stakeholders to balance speed, quality, and business value

Requisitos principales

- 5+ years as a full-stack engineer or similar role
- 3+ years leading engineering teams
- Strong API design experience (REST, GraphQL) and building integrations
- Experience with scalability, performance, and quality in production
- Business mindset and ability to connect technical decisions to customer outcomes
- Curiosity about the business and ability to translate it into technical choices
- Ability to lead through honest, Socratic discussions and collaboration
- Experience with AI-powered features or workflows and production readiness
- Ability to review and ship AI-generated code safely
- Understanding of LLM limitations and safe use of AI in systems
