We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a leading high-tech electronics company in Eindhoven. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring product quality across the full lifecycle, with a strong focus on New Product Introduction (NPI), customer quality, and electronics manufacturing environments (PCBA).
Your role
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet both internal standards and customer expectations from development through to mass production and end-of-life
You will work closely with engineering, production, and customers to ensure robust quality processes and continuous improvement
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) from a quality perspective (design transfer, process validation, risk assessment
- Acting as the main contact for customer quality issues and escalations
- Leading root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) and driving structural solutions
- Ensuring alignment between customer requirements and internal processes
- Supporting electronics / PCBA manufacturing processes
- Driving continuous improvement in product and process quality
- Collaborating closely with R&D;, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or similar
- Around 7 years of experience in Quality Engineering
- Strong experience in electronics manufacturing environments (PCBA is a plus)
- Solid background in NPI and/or customer quality
- Experience with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, APQP
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Confident communicator, able to work with both internal stakeholders and customers
