Experteer Overview As an Accounting Associate in Scopely’s Accounting Finance Team in Barcelona, you will support day-to-day accounting operations and help drive process improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and the shared service center to ensure accurate financial reporting across entities. Your work will cover reconciliations, GL maintenance, month-end close, intercompany activity, and audits, contributing to scalable financial controls. This role blends analytical rigor with hands-on accounting in a dynamic, multi-entity environment, offering meaningful impact on reporting accuracy and efficiency.Compensaciones / Incentivos - Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies - Record general ledger entries per local and group policies - Assist with month-end close and GL reconciliations - Post and reconcile intercompany transactions - Maintain the fixed assets register and monthly depreciation - Collaborate with Accounts Payable on reconciliations - Support during external and internal audits - Partner with cross-functional teams for financial insights - Contribute to process improvement and automation initiativesResponsabilidades - 5+ years of general accounting experience - Experience in international/multi-entity environments - Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools - Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities - Experience recording accruals, prepaid expenses, and reclassifications - Experience with flux analysis and variance explanations - Team-oriented mindset with focus on shared goals - Experience with ERP systems (preferred Oracle ERP)Requisitos principales -
