About the Role

Genea Biomedx is looking for an experienced Senior AR & Revenue Accountant to support our business in Spain and selected EMEA markets.

The role will focus on customer invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, cash application and finance-related customer communication. You will work closely with both Finance and Commercial teams and help ensure accurate billing, timely collections and effective resolution of customer account matters.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive and confident communicating with customers in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage customer invoicing and accounts receivable activities for Spain and selected EMEA markets.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
- Handle customer queries relating to invoices, payments, account balances and credit notes.
- Perform customer account reconciliations and investigate billing or payment discrepancies.
- Support cash allocation and bank reconciliation activities.
- Prepare AR ageing and collection reports.
- Work closely with Commercial teams to resolve customer account and collection issues.
- Support month-end closing and relevant account reconciliations.
- Support Spanish electronic invoicing requirements, including VeriFactu, where applicable.
- Support invoicing requirements relating to Italy, including SDI, where required.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to finance process and system improvements.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.




- Around 4-8 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
- Solid experience in accounts receivable, billing, revenue accounting, credit control or related areas.
- Good understanding of collections, customer account reconciliation and cash application.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP or accounting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, reliable and able to work independently.
- Comfortable communicating directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working in an international or multinational environment is preferred.

Language Requirements
- Spanish: fluent / professional working proficiency - required.
- English: fluent / professional working proficiency - required.
- Italian: preferred and considered a strong advantage.

Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting finance activities across Spain and other European markets.
- Familiarity with Spanish electronic invoicing requirements, including VeriFactu.
- Familiarity with Italian electronic invoicing through SDI.
- Experience working with both direct customers and distributors.
- Experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems.
- Previous experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences or another international B2B environment is an advantage.
