Mission Objectives

- Set up an integrated planning mechanism (maintenance + projects).
- Improve resource capacity management (human first, then material if applicable).
- Increase reliability of workload and assignment forecasts.
- Support management decision‑making (trade‑offs, prioritization, recruitment, outsourcing).

Scope and Responsibilities

- Analysis of current situation: planning processes, tools, workload/capacity data.
- Mapping of activities (preventive, corrective, predictive maintenance, projects, unforeseen tasks).
- Definition of planning rules (horizons, granularity, priorities, margins).
- Implementation of a capacity management model: workload vs capacity per team, skill, and period; identification of bottlenecks.
- Development of a planning solution.
- Implementation of key indicators (workload rate, utilization rate, planning compliance, deviations).
- Support managers and planners in adopting methods.
- Organizational recommendations and continuous improvement roadmap.

Expected Deliverables

- Structured diagnosis of planning and capacity.
- Target planning model (process + solution).
- Usable workload/capacity tables.
- Standardized indicators and reporting.
- Operational recommendations and action plan.

Profile Sought

- Proven expertise in planning, capacity management, and resource allocation.
- Experience in maintenance, technical services, and project environments.




- Ability to work with operational teams.

- Mastery of planning and workload analysis tools.

- Additional valued skills:

- Knowledge of HR qualification integration and qualification matching.
- Use and implementation of new planning tools (RSH/FSM).
- Mastery of setting up and monitoring KPIs related to resource planning.

Technical Skills

- Extensive experience (including customizing) with SAP PM (Plant Maintenance):
- Capacity planning per workstation.
- Use of calendars, task lists, workloads.
- Workload/capacity analysis.
- Coordination between maintenance and resource availability.
- Configuration of revision planning.
- Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance planning.
- Management of maintenance orders (minimum 5 years’ experience).
- Experience with SAP PS (Project System):
- Structuring projects (WBS/Network/Activity).
- Planning activities and milestones.
- Resource allocation to projects.
- Monitoring workload, costs, deadlines.
- Integration of projects and maintenance (minimum 5 years’ experience).
- Understanding of integration in planning of maintenance and projects performed by contractors/external firms (capacity management view).
- Experience in writing functional specifications and leading workshops (minimum 5 years’ experience).

Languages required:

- Language 1: Dutch or French (C2 mastery).
- Language 2: Dutch or French (other than language 1) (B1 intermediate).
- Language 3: English, mainly technical (B2 upper‑intermediate).
