Mobile Core Solution Engineer | General IoT Connectivity

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Core Solution Engineer to join a global IoT connectivity team. You will own the end-to-end design, integration and delivery of mobile core solutions, working across architecture, engineering, vendors and operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and deliver end-to-end mobile core and IoT connectivity solutions.
- Lead technical assessments, platform evolution and implementation projects.
- Analyse complex call flows, protocols, signalling and interoperability issues.
- Develop technical specifications, integration guidelines and RFP documentation.
- Coordinate solution design, integration, rollout and operational handover.
- Evaluate vendor solutions and balance third-party capabilities with internal development.
- Act as a technical authority across internal teams and external partners.

Key Requirements

- 6+ years’ experience in telecom,



IT or mobile connectivity.
- Strong knowledge of 2G/3G/4G LTE and 5G Core architectures.
- Strong expertise in SS7, MAP, Diameter, GTP, HTTP and INAP.
- Experience with SIM/eSIM, eUICC, SM-DP+, SM-SR, SIM applets and OTA provisioning.
- Hands-on experience with mobile core components such as HSS/HLR, P-GW/GGSN, PCRF, AMF, SMF or UPF.
- Strong troubleshooting, call-flow analysis and integration testing skills.
- Understanding of IoT/M2M, roaming, MVNO/MVNE and international carrier environments.
- Experience with cloud and/or cloud-native telecom environments is highly desirable.
