Data Architect – Global Asset Manager Join a leading global asset manager and take a key role in shaping the data architecture of an international financial organization. With data playing a critical role across investment, operations and business functions, the organization is continuously evolving how data is structured, managed, integrated and consumed across its global technology landscape. As a Data Architect, you will contribute to this evolution by defining scalable data architectures, establishing modelling and integration patterns, and ensuring that data solutions remain aligned with enterprise standards and long-term technology strategy. You will join the Solution & Data Architecture function and work across a broad international technology environment, collaborating with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Domain Architects, Data SMEs and Security specialists. The role combines strong technical expertise in data architecture with the ability to influence how data is managed and delivered across the organization. This is a role for an experienced Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer with strong architectural experience, particularly someone with a solid background in data modelling, data engineering, databases and cloud technologies. Experience in Financial Services or Asset Management would be highly valuable.

Requirements * Degree in Computer Science or a related field,



with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering and Architecture * Strong professional experience in Data Architecture and Data Modelling * Strong understanding of modelling methodologies including 3NF, Star, Snowflake and Data Vault 2.0 * Solid knowledge of data ingestion and consumption architectures, including batch, streaming, parallel ingestion and event-driven approaches * Strong experience with traditional relational databases, particularly Oracle, SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL * Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable * Good understanding and practical experience deploying workloads in the cloud, preferably GCP * Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to define architecture patterns, decision frameworks and reusable solutions * Ability to work closely with Data Engineers and translate architectural concepts into practical implementations * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain and xqbhyrx defend architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences *
Curiosity and interest in new technologies, with the ability to assess their potential value within an enterprise data environment *
Previous experience in the Financial Services or Asset Management industry is highly desirable
