Descriptions & Requirements
This is a pivotal leadership role, joining a small and collaborative executive team committed to delivering OPG’s strategy of being customer focussed, innovating and modernising together. This role is critical in shaping and delivering OPG strategic roadmap, driving forward OPG’s transformation portfolio, developing customer insight capabilities and supporting change and innovation throughout OPG, along with making sure OPG has the capability and capacity for the future.
Key Responsibilities Reporting into the Public Guardian and Chief Executive, you will:
- Ensure the delivery of OPG’s transformation portfolio, including Modernising Lasting Powers of Attorney which is critical to OPG’s longer-term financial stability and improving customer experience and outcomes.
- Develop and implement OPG’s Target Operating Model and Strategic Workforce Plan, including planning for and delivering significant people change.
- Set clear strategic direction for OPG, along with development of the roadmap to deliver OPG’s strategy.
- Strengthen customer insight and experience to drive evidence-based decision making and improved services.
- Champion innovation, including drawing together initiatives that test and embed AI in OPG.
- Strengthen and promote the reputation of OPG across government and externally.
- Be a visible, approachable and authentic leader as part of the Executive team, building a positive and engaged culture, and nurture resilient and well-functioning teams.
- Provide challenge, support and scrutiny as a member of OPG Executive Committee, Portfolio and Change Board, and wider OPG governance.
- As part of the senior leadership team, support OPG through a period of significant change and be adaptable to changing responsibilities.
