We are looking for an Accounting & Reporting Manager in Barcelona to oversee the month‐end closing and audit processes for our legal entities in Italy, Portugal, Spain and Poland, leading a team of 4–6 accountants, ensuring the meeting of reporting deadlines and complying with internal and external policies as well as with local tax regulations and requirements of the countries.

You will also lead analysis to explain performance vs. our Business Plan and supervise monthly reconciliations for both P&L; and BS. You will closely work with our local, regional and HQ finance teams to propose and implement initiatives to enhance current processes and to contribute to the overall success of our organization. Lead a team of 3–6 accountants from the local and international markets.

Partner with local accounting teams to harmonize the Purchase to pay process across Glovo group. Review and approve monthly reconciliations related to PtP accounts BS and P&L.; Ensure all accounting/financial policies and procedures related to PtP are adopted in line with prevailing legislation.

Proactively map PtP process improvements and drive planning, execution and implementation. Actively participate in the implementation of local ERPs and other finance projects related to PtP. Prepare ad hoc analysis to support explaining deviations of the P&L; vs.

Adapt quickly to changes in company policy, tax regulations and legislation.



Collaborate with the FinOps team to align the accounting flow with business. Bachelor's Degree from related departments (Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, etc.). ~8+ years of applicable work experience in Accounting for multinational companies. ~ Fluent in English with the ability to understand and communicate clearly and effectively (both written and oral). ~ Experience with general ledger functions and the month‐end/year‐end closing processes, specifically with Accruals, Provisions, Accounts payable and Legal Contingencies. ~ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. ~ Good understanding and experience of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP/IFRS). ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet. ~ Experience using SAP S4/HANA, Microsoft Dynamics and OneStream is a plus. ~ Experience with ERP migration is a plus. ~ Project Management experience is a plus. ~ Top‐notch private health insurance to keep you at your peak.
