We are looking for an experienced Application Operations Manager to join a strategic international project within the banking and wealth management sector.

The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in cloud migration initiatives, application operations, Dev Ops practices, and Azure technologies, working closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure service reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Hybrid

Model in Madrid (3x2) ⚙ Key Responsibilities: Own and manage IT services end-to-end, ensuring compliance with defined SLAs and understanding service dependencies. Drive application re-platforming and migration initiatives towards Azure Cloud infrastructure. Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security controls, and secure-by-design principles.

Enable CI/CD automation and cloud-native development approaches. Improve developer experience through documentation, templates, standards, and training materials. Participate in agile projects, providing technical and business analysis expertise.





Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and its core services. Proven experience leading or supporting application migrations and cloud transformation initiatives .

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm . Knowledge of Git Lab, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops , or similar CI/CD platforms.

Experience working with Oracle, Postgre SQL , or other relational databases. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK Stack, or Splunk . Strong knowledge of Git version control.

Experience working in Agile environments .

Fluent

English (written and spoken).

Background in Java or . NET (C#) environments.

Experience with automation scripting using Power Shell, Bash, or Python . Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or deployment solutions like Octopus Deploy . Understanding of networking concepts, including ingress controllers and load balancers.
