Job Summary This position will assist in day-to-day management related to patient care and staff workflows to ensure effective delivery of clinical patient care and compliance with administrative and clinical policies and procedures. Health insurance ~ Dental insurance Associates degree in Nursing required, bachelor's degree preferred.

Current Registered

Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or Compact state. Minimum of 3 years previous management experience in a hospital setting. Assist in guiding and directing nursing staff regarding safe, effective patient care, problem-solving and decision making according to patient needs, staff capabilities and facility resources.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of new procedures, products, equipment and standards of care used in acute care nursing. Interviews, orients, assigns work schedules, conducts and reviews evaluations and disciplines personnel to manage performance.



Oversees nursing functions in conducting annual performance evaluations and competency documentation.

Is familiar with, and maintains unit compliance with, all regulatory agency requirements, including, but not limited to CMS, DNV and Louisiana Department of Health. Collaborate with Nurse Manager and leadership team to implement departmental goals, strategic priorities, and quality improvement initiatives.
