Senior Property Underwriter in Spain, hybrid role, handles complex property risks across Spain and Europe. You will work with brokers, customers and cross-functional colleagues to drive profitable growth and strong underwriting outcomes. You’ll share expertise, mentor teammates and contribute to strategic portfolio initiatives. This is a chance to impact a growing Property book within a global insurer and shape sustainable risk solutions.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Underwrite new and renewal Property business within delegated authority and guidelines
• Contribute to the Property portfolio business plan and profitability
• Build and maintain broker, customer and partner relationships in the Spanish market
• Underwrite multinational programmes and collaborate with international stakeholders
• Negotiate pricing and terms for opportunities
• Support underwriting decisions with Risk Management and Market Management
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify trends and actions
• Ensure compliance with legal,



regulatory and internal governance
• Maintain underwriting and exposure data in QBE systems
• Share technical expertise and mentor colleagues to raise underwriting excellence
Responsabilidades
• Significant underwriting experience in Commercial Property insurance
• Strong technical underwriting knowledge and portfolio management understanding
• Experience underwriting complex and multinational property programmes
• Proven ability to develop broker and customer relationships
• Strong xqbhyrx commercial awareness and market dynamics understanding
• Analytical, negotiation and decision-making skills
• Ability to interpret risk information and use data for underwriting decisions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in insurance
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience using underwriting systems and Excel
• Leading, coaching or mentoring experience (advantageous)
