The Exams Officer and Academic Data Manager is responsible for the full administration and coordination of all external and internal examinations across the school, alongside academic data management and reporting in support of senior leadership and Heads of Department. The role requires meticulous organisation, strong data literacy, and the ability to manage multiple examination boards, assessment platforms, and reporting systems accurately and to strict deadlines.
Examinations Administration
Manage the end-to-end administration and coordination of all examinations, including candidate entries, appeals/re-marks, access arrangements and inspections, and results processing. Ensure full compliance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and awarding body regulations at all stages of the examination cycle. Assessment and Academic Data Provide academic data support to Heads of Department across Primary, Secondary, and ESO/BACH phases, including assessment data analysis and reporting to inform teaching and learning decisions.
Maintain data accuracy and system configuration across these modules to support accurate and timely academic reporting school-wide to to the regional team.
General Responsibilities

Titulación docente reconocida con QTS, habilitación docente o credencial española/internacional equivalente. Degree / Licenciatura o Grado Essential Titulación universitaria (Grado o Licenciatura)
en un área de conocimiento apropiada.
Administrative/secretarial training / Formación administrativa Desirable Formal training or demonstrable experience in the secretarial functions required under Spanish educational legislation.

EXPERIENCE / EXPERIENCIA Administrative experience / Experiencia administrativa Essential Proven experience in examinations administration within a school or educational setting, ideally across multiple examination boards. Languages / Idiomas Essential Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) to a professional standard. Dominio fluido del inglés y del español (escrito y oral) a nivel cualificado.
IT & data skills Excellent data management and analytical skills, with experience using school management information systems (e.Strong interpersonal skills, able to liaise effectively with senior leaders, Heads of Department, students, and external awarding bodies. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, with willingness to undergo relevant background checks (DBS or equivalent).
