Support the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of aerial vehicles and airborne systems
Develop 3D models and engineering drawings
Design airframes and equipment installations
Support conceptual and preliminary aircraft design activities
Define structural layouts and conduct packaging studies
Integrate airborne systems and equipment
Manage CAD product structures and technical documentation
Support manufacturing, assembly, and integration activities
Support engineering trade-offs and configuration management processes
Perform concurrent engineering with system engineers and technical specialists
Support certification and verification activities
Prepare technical documentation and design reports
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Requirements

Experience in aerospace mechanical design and CAD modelling
Good understanding of aircraft structures and installations
Knowledge of aircraft configuration design principles
Experience producing engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
Ability to work in multidisciplinary engineering environments




CATIA V5/V6
Advanced MS Office
Knowledge of systems installation constraints for electrical, avionics, propulsion, and mission systems is valued
Knowledge of composite structures is an asset
Experience in UAS/UAV development is an asset
Siemens NX or equivalent CAD tools would be an asset
Experience with PLM tools such as 3DEXPERIENCE or Teamcenter, or equivalent
The role is based at the Tres Cantos work center
