Experteer Overview
In this role you will help build and lead ops and development teams delivering high-availability AWS services for EU customers, as part of the Managed Operations group. You’ll drive SC initiatives, collaborate with global teams, and optimize availability, latency, and efficiency. You will also participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents and contribute to shaping the ESC’s operational maturity and reliability.

• Oversee launch and operational readiness of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) for 2025
• Collaborate with technology leaders and global AWS teams to improve day-to-day operations
• Enhance availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of ESC
• Develop and test scripts to automate workflows and improve efficiency
• Review and influence change management documents and address operational backlog
• Provide education and knowledge sharing on ESC with service teams
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to ensure system resilience
• Root-cause analysis and incident resolution to maintain fault-tolerant systems
Responsabilidades
• Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering with hardware, software, networking, and operating systems
• Experience scripting (Bash, Python, or Ruby)
• Strong Linux and networking troubleshooting skills
• Ability to create/revise SOPs and drive operational best practices
• Eligible to work in EU and fluent in English
• EU national or resident with relocation support when needed
• Experience operating 24x7 high-availability distributed apps and performance tuning
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
