We are looking for a Open Shift Engineer to join our team for a multinational leader in the financial sector. Operate, maintain and support Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform environments, ensuring secure, highly available and performant clusters Own the reliability and observability of Kubernetes and Open Shift platforms, proactively identifying risks before they become incidents Lead the response to production degradations, conduct post-mortems and drive systemic fixes to eliminate repeat failures Design and implement Ansible playbooks for automated deployment, configuration management, rolling upgrades and day-to-day operations across Kubernetes and Open Shift clusters Build Python tooling to automate health checks, operational workflows, alerting integrations and pipeline diagnostics Enforce change-management policies for upgrades, configuration changes and access control Drive capacity planning, cluster scaling and architecture improvements in collaboration with senior and platform engineers Hands-on experience with Red Hat Open Shift 3.x, including installation, upgrades and day-to-day administration Strong understanding of Kubernetes primitives such as Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress,
CRDs and Operators Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals and confidence diagnosing issues at infrastructure level Open Shift SDN/OVN, Ingress/Egress, Service Mesh basics, Load Balancers, Network Policy, CSI drivers, persistent volumes and snapshots Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Open Shift Operator SDK and Bash/Python scripting Experience with Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana and Opentelemetry basics 4–6 years of Linux/Unix system administration or cloud platform engineering experience ~ At least 2–3 years dedicated to Open Shift/Kubernetes administration in production ~ Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Bitbucket or Argo CD ~ Experience working in ITIL environments, including change control, incident management and request management ~ Knowledge of Process & Quality management and Agile principles including Scrum and Kanban ~ Experience with Service Now and Cyber Ark Job Conditions &
