We are looking for a highly commercial Business Development Director to drive growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand our presence in Southern Europe.
Responsibilities
Identify and close new business opportunities.
Develop and grow strategic client relationships.
Manage key accounts and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
Negotiate commercial agreements and partnerships.
Execute growth strategies and contribute to market expansion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business results.

Requirements
Proven experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Strategic Partnerships.
Specific sales experience within the payments and cards (“plastic”) ecosystem — including banking and associated products — rather than financial products broadly.
Background in technology, fintech, payments, or related industries.




An established personal reputation in the market — a name that carries weight with senior decision-makers.
Strong hunter and farmer profile, with a track record of generating and growing revenue.
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
The seniority and network to engage directly with the leadership of a Enterprise-tier organization.
Able to eventually bring in their own client relationships.
Commercial mindset, proactive attitude, and strong execution capabilities.
Comfortable managing multiple strategic clients simultaneously.
Exposure to AI and emerging technologies is a plus.
Willingness to travel as needed.
