A high-growth AI infrastructure business is looking for a Head of Legal to lead its European legal function, based in Madrid.This is a broad, hands-on leadership role with direct exposure to senior leadership and responsibility across M&A;, corporate, commercial and strategic matters.Key responsibilities:- Lead and build out the European legal function- Own M&A;, acquisitions, investments and corporate transactions- Lead complex commercial contracting, including MSAs, customer and vendor agreements- Advise on corporate governance, structuring and international expansion- Support financing and capital markets activity- Partner directly with senior commercial,



finance and infrastructure teams- Manage external counsel across European jurisdictions- Build scalable legal processes as the European business continues to growIdeal profile:- 10+ years' PQE- Australian or UK qualified preferred- Strong corporate/M&A; and commercial background- Experience with complex, cross-border transactions- Strong commercial contracting experience- Comfortable operating independently and building a function- Pragmatic, commercially minded and confident advising senior stakeholders- Excellent EnglishThis is an opportunity to take full ownership of the European legal function within a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure business, with significant scope to shape the function and work closely with senior leadership.
