What You Can Expect :
- Win, retain, and develop C & above customers, with a strong focus on Reefer business in the Mediterranean region , through proactive hunting and relationship management.
- Develop a strong and constantly refreshed pipeline of opportunities, particularly within the Reefer segment , maintained and reported via the company CRM ("Sugar CRM"), following corporate SOPs.
- Conduct face-to-face sales meetings with prospects and customers across the Mediterranean region , aligned with the schedule and strategy defined by Inside Sales and management.
- Assess prospective accounts for profitability, strategic relevance, Reefer potential , and fit within Rhenus Air & Ocean objectives.
- Build rapport and trust with customers by understanding their business needs, cold chain requirements, seasonal flows, cargo characteristics, and challenges related to refrigerated transport .
- Act as a subject-matter expert in Reefer logistics , providing customers with tailored solutions and demonstrating strong knowledge of refrigerated container operations,



temperature-controlled cargo and associated requirements.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within Reefer trades and Mediterranean markets , including import and export flows.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product Teams, Station Management, Key Account Management) to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth onboarding of Reefer customers .
- Develop and implement strategies and tactics to meet and exceed sales and gross profit targets, with a particular focus on growing the Reefer portfolio .
- Monitor customer activity, including shipment volumes, lost clients, retention measures and Reefer volumes and market opportunities .

What You Bring:
- Requires a minimum of 1-3 years of field sales experience in freight forwarding, preferably with proven experience in Reefer / temperature-controlled logistics, or at least two years of relevant operational experience.
