Job Summary
We are currently undergoing a renovation of the hotel and the training manager will be a key role in driving culture, quality and management development.
The training manager helps drive W and Marriott values and philosophy and ensures all training and development activities are strategically linked to the hotel´s objectives. Works with hotel´s leadership team to identify and address employee and hotel´s development needs. The position is responsible for ensuring effective training is in place to enable the achievement of desired business results. Training programs focus on a variety of topics, including product knowledge, company philosophy, and customer service and leadership skills. Conducts needs assessments, designs and develops training programs and facilitates the delivery of both custom and corporate training programs.



Measures the effectiveness of training to ensure a return on investment.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education, Skills And Experience
- University educated, ideally in hospitality or Human Resources
- Relevant work experience required (experience in hospitality preferred)
- Fluent in Spanish and English (catalan desirable)
- Must have the right to take up employment in Spain (if not EU national, please provide details on CV)
