Tech Recruiter – Engineering, AI & Data | Freelance → Perm | Valencia (Hybrid) Freelance opportunity via Shakers for a fast-growing B2C company in Valencia, scaling its Engineering, AI and Data teams across 10+ markets. Starts as a 6-month freelance contract with a clear path to an internal, permanent role. What youll do * Own full-cycle recruitment for Engineering, AI/ML and Data roles, from sourcing to offer close * Partner directly with the executive board and engineering leadership to shape hiring strategy, including for newer roles (AI/ML, data) that dont have an established playbook yet * Build and maintain pipelines across local and international markets * Assess AI/ML and engineering profiles credibly at a senior level, not just keyword-match a JD What we need * 6+ years in technical recruiting, with real, demonstrable Engineering/AI/Data hiring experience (not general/admin TA) * Native or professional Spanish + strong English * Comfortable running full-cycle processes autonomously * Hybrid in Valencia Nice to have * E-commerce/D2C/consumer tech recruiting experience * Stable tenure track record — this is meant to become long-term, not a quick stopover
