Strategic Buyer – Rear Fuselage & Empennage

An opportunity for a Strategic Buyer – Rear Fuselage & Empennage has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid) .

The selected candidate will join the Aerostructures Procurement Team . This dynamic, highly motivated team is in charge of shaping the structural core of our aircraft by managing key contractual and commercial frameworks, securing top-tier value, and keeping our supply chain ahead of the curve in high-technology work packages .

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
- Manage end-to-end supplier contracts to ensure optimal purchasing conditions, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation .
- Identify and deliver strategic value-creation projects that directly impact long-term competitiveness .
- Nurture executive-level relationships with general suppliers to drive continuous performance and collaboration .
- Lead cross-functional Work Package teams on product strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with the broader Multi-Functional Team (MFT) .
- Own and execute the Procurement Plan,



translating high-level strategy into tangible commercial milestones .
