We’re looking for a Project Safety Assurance Manager
to ensure that the safety of our signalling solutions is embedded throughout every stage of the project lifecycle. This is a critical role focused on delivering safe, compliant and reliable railway systems that keep passengers and cities moving.
You’ll work alongside people who show up with ownership, passion, and dedication - because they know what’s at stake: the journey home.
Your role, your impact
- Coordinate all Safety Assurance activities throughout signalling projects
- Define Safety Plans and manage safety workload, priorities and planning
- Perform safety analyses, manage Hazard Logs and review design, V&V; and testing activities from a safety perspective
- Build Safety Reports and Safety Cases in line with project requirements and standards
- Defend Safety Case argumentation with internal and external assessors and drive closure of findings
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across project phases, from tender through commissioning and warranty
- Ensure compliance with CENELEC standards and safety assurance methodologies
- Lead and support Safety Assurance Engineers assigned to project.
You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, project management and system delivery - solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.
What You Bring
- Engineering degree
- More than 5 years of experience in railway signalling safety projects
- Experience with CBTC solutions preferred; IXL, ERTMS Trackside or ERTMS Onboard experience also considered
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Strong knowledge of Safety Assurance methodologies and
