Mechanic

At BAA Training, aviation brings people, learning, and daily operations together. At our flight school in Lleida, every role matters in keeping training safe, smooth, and reliable. We are now looking for a Mechanic to join the team, someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays attention to detail, and understands the importance of safety in every task.

We promise a highly challenging field and wide scope of responsibilities, which will initially cover:
- Performing aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with CAE and aviation standards.
- Taking care of MRO tools and equipment, ensuring proper handling.
- Keeping maintenance documentation up to date.
- Following Senior Engineer’s and Technical Manager’s instructions.
- Assisting Certifying Staff in daily duties, including troubleshooting and defect rectification.
- Working in accordance with approved company processes.
- Working with company IT systems to monitor and ensure a smooth aircraft maintenance process.
- Participating in daily team briefings.
- Ensuring tasks are completed on time and according to requirements.




- Performing other duties and responsibilities assigned by the direct manager.

We dream about a team member who:
- Has at least one year of experience as a mechanic, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Experience in the aviation industry is considered an advantage.
- Experience working in a regulated environment is an advantage.
- Has demonstrated practical knowledge of the maintenance field.
- Understands maintenance processes; knowledge of aircraft maintenance is an advantage.
- Understands and follows safety and regulatory requirements.
- Basic understanding of aviation safety standards is considered an advantage.
- Is able to identify and report defects and irregularities.
- Has good skills in a Microsoft Office 365 environment or basic computer literacy.
- Is able to work independently and is self-motivated, taking ownership of tasks.
