We are currently looking for a Junior Project Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain.
What is the role About?
As a Junior Project Engineer you will:
- Support Project Managers in planning and coordinating project activities
- Assist with project documentation, weekly meeting minutes, and monthly reports.
- Help monitor project schedules, budgets, and key milestones.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Support procurement, cost estimation, and contractor certifications review.
- Participate in site follow -up to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
- Contribute to different project phases: feasibility, preparation, execution, and closing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in roles such as Construction Engineer, Site Engineer, or Process Engineer, preferably within industrial projects
- Experience in the Food & Beverage industry is a strong asset
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required; Catalan or Italian is a plus
- Valid Category B driving license
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, and AutoCAD
- Experience in client relationship management
- Willingness to work on -site in Barcelona and to travel nationally and internationally (60–80%) depending on project needs
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn
