Join Shipco IT as an Associate – Business Analyst We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to act as a vital bridge between business goals and technology solutions. In this role, you will analyze and refine business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help translate business needs into clear, actionable system requirements. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions are well-designed, practical, and deliver real business value.

Elicit, Analyze, and Document Requirements: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements and feedback. Translate these into clear use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and business requirement documents (BRDs).

Work closely with technical and business teams to design, document, and implement system solutions that align with business needs.

Process Analysis & Optimization: Evaluate and document existing business processes, develop process models and workflows,



and recommend innovative and practical improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Risk Assessment & Prioritization: Assess risks and impacts associated with proposed solutions and designs, and effectively prioritize competing business demands to ensure project success. Partner with cross-functional teams throughout the specification, testing, and implementation phases to ensure seamless communication and delivery. Testing, Validation & UAT Coordination: Support solution validation by delivering requirement walkthroughs, assisting in system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinating signoffs from business users to confirm solution readiness.

Ensure Quality Standards: Validate that developed solutions meet defined business and technical requirements, maintaining alignment with established quality standards. Maintain comprehensive business process and system documentation, including flowcharts, data models, and business rules. Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve analysis quality and project delivery.

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration,



or a related field with equivalent experience considered. Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst with prior exposure to IT projects; Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, functional documentation, stakeholder communication, and testing coordination, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable specifications. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights; Proficiency in tools and techniques such as UML, BPMN, use cases, Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and SQL;

experience with data visualization (Power BI/Tableau) and API testing (SoapUI/Postman) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies; Scrum Certification is an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, business teams, and external partners.

Strong documentation and formatting skills in English, with the ability to produce clear and well-structured requirement materials.

Experience working closely with senior business analysts, product owners, or other key stakeholders for guidance, alignment, and best practice implementation.
