Our data engineering team consists of approximately 5 professionals across Zurich and Windhoek, who contribute significantly to the development of our digital products. The team in Windhoek focuses on data and software engineering as well as quality assurance, working closely with our colleagues in Switzerland as an integral part of our technology organization. To complement our team in Windhoek, we are looking for a motivated individual to join us immediately or by arrangement as Data Engineer - Forward Deployed (m/f) 100% Solution Development: Translating complex business and operational challenges into practical, data-driven solutions.

Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data models, and integrations. Combining data engineering, analytics,



and software development to create production-ready data applications and tools.

Data Integration: Integrating data from internal systems, third-party platforms, and APIs into the central data platform.

Quality Assurance & Operations: Ensuring data quality, reliability, observability, performance, and appropriate access controls. Collaborating with data engineers, analysts, software developers, and business teams at the Windhoek and Zurich locations. 2+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, software engineering or a comparable role ~ Strong SQL skills and practical experience with Python or another general-purpose programming language ~ Experience building and operating production-grade data pipelines and data models ~ Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms, orchestration tools, transformation frameworks and APIs ~ Fluent in English and comfortable working cross-functionally with colleagues in Namibia and Switzerland
