We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join the Catalytic Processes and Waste Valorization (CPWV) Research Group at the University of the Basque Country (EHU) and pursue a PhD in the field of Chemical Engineering within the framework of the Knowledge Generation Project PID2025-174818OB-I00: Syngas Production by Joint Valorization of Plastic Waste and CO₂.
This 4-year PhD position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research at the intersection of sustainable waste valorization, CO₂ utilization, and syngas production, contributing to the transition towards a circular and low-carbon economy.
The PhD thesis will be supervised by Maite Artetxe and Maider Amutio within a dynamic research environment offering excellent scientific training and strong career development prospects.
