In this role you will evolve QA practices for a live grand strategy title, strengthening the whole team's testing through automation, smart triage, and data-driven dashboards. You will work closely with an external QA partner and developers to raise the bar on quality while continuing hands-on testing of the game. You shape QA strategy, prioritize based on player impact, and mentor teammates to embed QA thinking across the project.
This is a hands-on, impact-focused position in a small studio with a collaborative culture.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Grow test automation and extend regression coverage with each update
- Build faster triage systems and leverage AI to streamline bug discovery and assignment
- Create dashboards and quality-tracking that reveal testing state through data
- Shape the functional QA process: test planning, coverage, merge-list curation, backlog health across update branches
- Collaborate with external QA partner to ensure a prioritized, clear testing queue
- Represent QA in sign-offs and milestone decisions, assessing severity by player impact
- Mentor analysts, onboard new joiners, and promote QA thinking across the project
Responsabilidades
- 5+ years in games QA, including at least one shipped or live title
- Hands-on experience with test automation or proven track record of reducing manual testing
- Experience with external QA partners or outsourced test teams
- History xugodme of improving testing processes and workflows
- Risk-based judgment with ability to prioritize under constraints
- Practical use of AI tools in QA or strong prompting fundamentals
- Fluency with Jira and clear, direct English communication
