About the Position We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join an established team at Kongsberg Automotive. This position involves close collaboration with colleagues and customers across Europe so if you are self‐motivated, with a background in Automotive Quality Engineering and enjoy supporting and working closely with people across the globe, this may be the position for you. Play a key role in new product launches by leading quality planning activities from development through serial production.

Partner with engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers to ensure the highest standards of product and process quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, improving process capability, and enhancing overall manufacturing performance. Lead problem‐solving activities using structured methodologies to eliminate recurring quality issues and strengthen customer satisfaction.

Manage customer complaints,



supplier quality concerns, audits and PPAP approvals to support successful project execution. Promote a culture of quality through training, coaching, and the implementation of best practices and lessons learned. Contribute directly to operational excellence and business growth by delivering sustainable quality improvements across the plant.

Bachelor's degree or technical diploma. From 2 to 5 years of previous experience in quality departments. High level of English, spoken and written. Training in standards ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016.
