Salary: EUR35000 - EUR40000 per annum + Benefits Zachary Daniels are delighted to be partnering with a well-established, general consumer business to recruit an HR Manager for their Spanish operation. Based in Spain with regular time spent in Alicante, this is a brilliant opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys a broad remit and wants to be close to both the people and the operation. You'll take responsibility for HR across the Spanish business, working closely with the wider UK People team whilst managing and developing the local HR team.
One day you could be supporting a complex employee relations matter, the next working through payroll, recruitment or labour relations. Leading and developing the HR team in Spain Overseeing recruitment across the Spanish airport operation, ensuring the business can attract and hire great people at pace Taking ownership of the monthly payroll process, working closely with external providers and ensuring accuracy and compliance Providing practical, commercially focused advice across ER, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance and organisational change Supporting labour relations,
collective bargaining and employment tribunal matters alongside external legal partners Ensuring compliance with Spanish employment legislation, tax, Social Security and regulatory requirements Supporting onboarding, right-to-work and wider employment compliance Delivering local DE&I; initiatives, including the Equality Plan and relevant Spanish reporting requirements Helping to create a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture across the Spanish operation You'll already have experience within a broad HR role in Spain and be comfortable getting stuck into the day-to-day as well as looking at the bigger picture. Strong knowledge of Spanish employment law and payroll practices is important, alongside hands-on experience across recruitment and employee relations.
You'll be fluent in Spanish with a professional level of written and spoken English (minimum B2), and ideally be based in or within easy reach of Alicante. This could be a great opportunity for an experienced HR Manager, or someone ready to take that next step into a broader role with plenty of ownership. Hybrid working
