Position Overview
We are looking for a Control Systems / Control Strategy Engineer to design, develop, validate, and optimize control strategies for complex engineering systems. The adecuado candidate will have a strong engineering background and hands-on experience in control systems, system modelling, simulation, testing, and validation.
The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop reliable and efficient control solutions and ensure that control strategies meet system, safety, performance, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop control strategies for engineering systems and applications.
Validate control strategies through simulation, testing, and system-level verification.
Develop and review control algorithms based on system requirements and performance targets.
Perform system modelling, simulation, and analysis to evaluate control-system performance.
Support integration and testing of control systems across different engineering platforms.
Analyze system behaviour and troubleshoot control-related issues.
Define test cases, test procedures, and validation criteria.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and other engineering teams.
Review technical specifications, system requirements, and engineering documentation.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations.
Support root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
Ensure control strategies comply with applicable engineering, safety, and quality standards.
Prepare technical reports, test documentation, and validation results.
Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of existing control strategies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in any of the following disciplines:
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
Automotive Engineering
Materials Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Computer Engineering
Systems Engineering
Or a closely related engineering discipline
Professional experience in control systems, control strategy development, systems engineering, simulation, or validation .
Strong understanding of engineering principles and system-level behaviour.
Experience with control-system design, modelling, simulation, or validation.
Ability to analyze technical problems and develop effective engineering solutions.
Good understanding of system requirements and verification/validation methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar modelling and simulation tools .
Knowledge of control theory, feedback systems, and control algorithms.
Experience with Model-Based Design and Model-Based Development.
Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) or Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing.
Knowledge of system integration and functional testing.
Experience with requirements-management and engineering lifecycle tools.
Familiarity with automotive, aerospace, industrial, energy, or other complex engineering environments.
Knowledge of Python, C/C++, or other programming languages is an advantage.

Experience
Recommended: 3+ years of relevant experience in control systems, control strategy development, systems engineering, simulation, or validation.
