Experteer Overview
In this role you will design integrated electronic security and telecom systems for buildings, supporting safe and efficient operations. You will work within the Building Engineering team to deliver detailed technical designs using BIM-enabled workflows and coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams. You’ll tackle challenging, multidisciplinary projects across sectors, applying your expertise to meet regulatory standards and client needs. This position offers international exposure and a path to grow within a integral infrastructure leader. You will contribute to innovative, high-impact projects that shape safe, modern facilities worldwide.

• Design integrated electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection) and related infrastructure
• Produce detailed technical documentation: calculations, schematics, diagrams, reports, specifications
• Define camera and device layouts considering field-of-view, coverage, and blind spots
• Coordinate design with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams for functional integration




• Participate in technical coordination meetings and address spatial telecom requirements
• Propose technical solutions to new challenges and identify discrepancies in results
• Contribute to development of technical proposals for bids and new projects

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience designing electronic security systems for buildings
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards in electronic security
• Experience evaluating and selecting technology vendors
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, and Revit
• Desirable: experience with wired and wireless telecom infrastructure, voice alarm evacuation systems, and building control/monitoring systems
• Previous international project experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
