This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. TechTorch TechTorch is a high-growth enterprise technology consultancy that partners with the world's leading private equity-backed businesses. We deliver AI-powered solutions, accelerators, and data-driven transformation initiatives that drive measurable value at speed and scale.

Our mission is to redefine enterprise technology consulting for private equity. TechTorch was founded by seasoned leaders - including former Bain consultants, CIOs, and tech executives - with deep expertise in technology, transformation, and value creation. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Revenue Cloud Developer to join TechTorch's Commercial Excellence Practice.

This is a senior, hands‐on development role for an engineer who has deep, production‐grade experience building and customising Salesforce Revenue Cloud - including CPQ extensions, Billing integrations, Apex invocables, LWC components, and platform automation - and who can translate complex quote‐to‐cash requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions. You will be the technical engine on Revenue Cloud engagements, responsible for Apex development, Flow architecture, integration build, and code quality.

Revenue Cloud

Development - Hands‐On Build Billing Automation: Develop Apex triggers, invocable methods, and batch jobs to automate billing schedules, invoice generation, payment processing, credit note creation, and billing exception handling.

Build

Apex‐driven amendment and renewal flows including co‐term calculations, proration logic, contract line management, and renewal opportunity creation.

Invocable Apex for Flows: Design and build invocable Apex methods called from Record‐Triggered and Screen Flows to extend Revenue Cloud processes beyond declarative limits.

Build Lightning Web

Components for custom quote line editors, pricing calculators, product configurators, approval UIs, and billing dashboards embedded in the Salesforce UI.

Platform Events & CDC: Use Platform Events and Change Data Capture to trigger real‐time integrations and downstream system notifications from Revenue Cloud transactions.

Batch & Async Apex: Write batch, queueable, and scheduled Apex for large‐volume Revenue Cloud operations including invoice runs, renewal processing, and usage rating. Design and build Record‐Triggered Flows, Screen Flows, Autolaunched Flows, and Subflows supporting CPQ and Billing process automation at scale. Implement validation rules, custom formula fields, and Apex‐based constraint logic enforcing quote, contract, and billing data quality standards.

Knowledge of Agentforce Revenue SDK, agent actions, agent topics, and AI‐assisted quoting or billing automation is highly desirable.

Integration Development

Design and build integrations between Revenue Cloud and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Sage), billing platforms (ZoneCo, Stripe), and financial systems. Develop REST and SOAP API integrations, inbound and outbound, with appropriate error handling, retry logic, idempotency, and monitoring. Build and maintain integration payloads, field mapping specifications, and data contract documentation for each connected system.

Work with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Workato, or similar iPaaS tools to govern integration delivery and operational monitoring. Ensure revenue data integrity,

reconciliation, and traceability between Salesforce and downstream finance or billing systems. DevOps, CI/CD & Release Management Own technical delivery through the full dev lifecycle: development, code review, unit testing, sandbox validation, staging deployment, and production release.

Use Salesforce DX (sfdx), version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Copado, Gearset, or equivalent) for reliable, repeatable deployments. Manage metadata deployments, change sets, scratch orgs, and sandbox refreshes across project environments. Write and maintain Apex unit tests meeting or exceeding 85% code coverage, with a focus on meaningful assertions over coverage gaming.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues including governor limit violations, SOQL performance, integration failures, and Flow errors. Apply conversational development workflows using natural language prompts to generate, refine, test, debug, and document Salesforce technical artifacts. Use AI tools responsibly while maintaining strong engineering discipline, code quality, security standards, and platform best practices.

Mentor junior developers in Salesforce development standards, Revenue Cloud patterns, and AI‐native tooling. Produce clear technical documentation including solution designs, API specs, data flow diagrams, and deployment runbooks.

Revenue

Cloud & Quote-to-Cash Development Hands‐on, production‐level development experience extending Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ and Billing) – not just configuration, but code written and deployed to production.

Deep understanding of the CPQ data model: Deep understanding of the Billing data model: blng__Invoice__c, blng__BillingSchedule__c, blng__UsageSummary__c, blng__Order__c, and payment‐related objects.

Experience writing CPQ Apex extensions including Quote Calculator Plugin, custom pricing logic, and product configuration callbacks.

Experience developing Apex for amendment flows, renewal automation, proration, and co‐term billing logic.

Experience integrating Revenue Cloud with NetSuite SuiteBilling, ZoneCo, Stripe Billing, or equivalent downstream billing systems. Knowledge of Agentforce Revenue SDK and AI‐assisted quoting or billing automation is a strong plus.

Salesforce Core Development

Expert‐level Apex development: triggers, classes, invocable methods, batch, queueable, scheduled, and test classes with meaningful assertions.

Strong Lightning Web

Component (LWC) development including component composition, wire adapters, Apex integration, and UI API usage. Deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits, SOQL and DML best practices, bulkification patterns, and performance optimisation.

Strong understanding of Salesforce security model: Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud development patterns is a plus. Strong understanding of Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs: Bulk API, Streaming API, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Composite API patterns.

Experience designing and building bi‐directional integrations with error handling, retry, idempotency, and operational monitoring. Familiarity with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Workato, or similar iPaaS tools. Ability to produce and maintain integration data contracts, field mappings, and API specifications for downstream and upstream systems.

DevOps & Engineering Discipline Proficiency with Salesforce DX, Git‐based version control, scratch orgs, and metadata‐driven development. GitHub Actions, Copado, Gearset, or equivalent.

Commitment to code quality: meaningful unit tests, peer code review, static analysis (PMD / Salesforce Code Analyser), and consistent naming and documentation standards. Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues including governor limits, SOQL performance, async failures, and integration errors. Comfortable using conversational development workflows to generate, refine, test, debug, and explain Apex, Flows, LWC, integrations, and APIs.

Ability to use AI tools responsibly while maintaining strong engineering discipline, code quality, security, and platform best practices. Strong communication and collaboration skills – able to work with architects, consultants, business users, QA teams, and project managers across integral time zones. Ability to translate business requirements and solution designs into high‐quality, documented technical deliverables.

Strong problem‐solving mindset with attention to quality, maintainability, and long‐term scalability.

Experience mentoring junior developers is a plus.

Experience 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong hands‐on implementation delivery. 3+ years of direct, hands‐on Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ and/or Billing) development experience – code written and deployed to production. Proven delivery of at least two end‐to‐end Revenue Cloud development engagements from technical design through go‐live.

Experience working within or alongside PE‐backed businesses or high‐growth commercial environments is a plus.

Salesforce Certified Platform

Developer I (required) Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (strongly preferred) Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist (strongly preferred) Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant (desirable – demonstrates domain depth alongside technical skill) Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect is a plus, but not required.
