Experteer Overview As Principal Product Manager for Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) within Elastic Security, you define the vision and roadmap to detect, investigate, and respond to identity-based threats. You’ll anchor ITDR on our Entity Analytics/Entity Store foundation and govern non-human and AI identities. You’ll partner with threat research, data science, and engineering, while engaging enterprise customers and the security community. This role shapes a differentiated, scalable identity defense across on‑prem and cloud environments.Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Define and own the ITDR vision, strategy, and roadmap for Elastic Security, evolving identity analytics into an identity-defense outcome
- Manage the plan for non-human and AI identities (service accounts, workloads, secrets, AI agents), including lifecycle and behavior standards
- Collaborate with threat research and detection engineering to address identity-specific threats (credential access, privilege escalation, identity-based lateral movement)
- Drive threat containment and automated response with identity-system integrations, ensuring human oversight for critical actions
- Engage with enterprise customers, sales, and solution architects to capture requirements and align on priorities
- Work with design to create investigation and response experiences focused on identity within analyst workflows
- Integrate identity signals with endpoint, cloud, and network data in SIEM/XDR workflows




- Develop market knowledge to shape a unique identity-security strategy and engage analysts
- Act as product expert, evangelizing Elastic’s identity capabilities through content and community interactionsResponsabilidades
- 10+ years in product management or solution delivery for security products (SIEM, XDR, EDR, identity security, or detection and response)
- Strong knowledge of identity-based attack techniques and the identity fabric (AD, cloud identity providers, SSO, OAuth, privileged access) in both on-prem and cloud environments
- Fluency with non-human identities (service accounts, workloads, secrets, AI agents) and understanding of their distinct governance
- Deep AI/ML fluency (behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, LLMs, agentic systems) and ability to work with data scientists and engineers
- Bias to action with ability to learn from experiments and leverage AI tools to accelerate decisions
- Proven leadership across a matrixed, remote-first organization with autonomous judgment
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
