Workplace AI & End Users Services Project Manager
We're looking for an experienced Workplace AI & End Users Services Project Manager to join an international leader in the insurance and assistance sector, based in Barcelona (hybrid model, 2-3 days/week in office).
You'll take ownership of driving multiple concurrent IT and Workplace transformation projects in a global, matrix organization. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate cross-functional teams across different AXA entities, manage complex stakeholder ecosystems, and ensure successful deployment of digital adoption initiatives that directly impact hundreds of users.
Lead 2+ concurrent IT/Workplace projects to successful delivery, managing different maturity levels and international stakeholder groups
Proactively engage all required teams (products, working groups, business functions – sales, underwriting, compliance) and establish accountability across matrix structures
Define and monitor project scope, cost, timeline, and quality within constraints; Manage risks, mitigations, and escalate issues collaboratively with senior technical and business stakeholders
Organize and lead Project Steering Committees; Prepare tailored reporting and dashboards for different audiences, consolidating status updates, KPIs, budget tracking, and decision-making materials
Maintain accurate deployment schedules, local roll-out plans, adoption roadmaps, and benefits tracking in line with business cases
Oversee handover to BAU operations and lead change management for post-launch support and training
Ensure alignment with AXA's project methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and architectural, data, safety, and quality standards
Deliver project governance documentation, stakeholder sign-offs, steering committee materials, and gating documentation
8+ years of proven experience in project and program management,
with specific expertise in Workplace and End Users Services projects in international contexts
✓ Global project management experience — comfortable implementing governance frameworks and managing distributed, matrix teams
✓ Risk and change management expertise — you anticipate risks, proactively mitigate impact, and navigate organizational change
✓ Multi-project management capability — you can juggle independent, parallel workstreams without losing sight of priorities
✓ Spanish, French, and English required (fluency in all three is essential for this international role)
