As a Senior Data Governance Leader, you will drive the operational transformation of our integral governance function, turning multi-industry legacy data into a unified, production-ready foundation. You will partner with Data Operations, ML teams, and international hubs to establish core quality baselines and architect scalable taxonomy and MDM structures.

This is a high-impact, execution-focused role for a builder who excels at translating governance policy into testable, working artifacts—ensuring our standards remain consistent, conflict-free, and actively enforced at scale. Author, maintain, and version enterprise taxonomies, business term definitions, and master data hierarchies to consolidate legacy structures across four distinct organizations and two industries into a single unified taxonomy Translate governance strategies into structured,



testable data quality rules—assigning consistent rule IDs across taxonomies to ensure governance actively runs in production systems. Run routine rule-library analysis to detect duplicates, conflicts, and coverage gaps, and prepare findings for governance review Support intake and triage of new rule and definition requests from Data Operations and business stakeholders Prepare reference data and golden-record candidates for governance certification, flagging anomalies and exceptions Assist in preparing governance reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder updates Coverage - Measurable progress against taxonomy and reference data coverage targets across tiers Operationalization - Authored rules and definitions are actively used in classification and quality workflows 5+ years of hands‐on experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, or Data Architecture ~ Proven experience building and operationalizing data governance foundations, taxonomies, and MDM frameworks from the ground up (not just maintaining existing frameworks) ~ Hands‐on experience maintaining taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, business glossaries, or rule libraries ~ Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data, spreadsheets, and governance tooling ~ Ability to translate governance decisions into precise, consistent, testable rules ~ Comfort with ambiguity and evolving standards in a maturing governance environment ~ Familiarity with data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness) ~ In accordance with the EEO-1 reporting requirements, we collect demographic data as part of our efforts to ensure fair and equitable hiring practices across all levels of our organization.
