Head of Structured Finance (IPP Platform)
My client, a fast-growing independent power producer at the forefront of the energy transition, developing, financing, and operating renewable energy assets across multiple markets. As they scale their portfolio and expand into new technologies and geographies, they are seeking a Head of Structured Finance to lead the design and execution of complex financing solutions that underpin their growth.

The Role

As Head of Structured Finance, you will take ownership of all structured financing activities across the platform. You will lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of project finance, portfolio financings, and capital market transactions, working closely with senior leadership, investors, and lenders.

This is a high-impact role with direct influence on strategic growth, capital allocation, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the structuring and execution of project finance and portfolio-level transactions across renewable energy assets
Develop innovative financing solutions to optimise capital structure and returns
Manage relationships with banks, institutional investors, and financial advisors
Oversee financial modelling, due diligence,



and transaction documentation
Partner with development, M&A;, and asset management teams to support pipeline growth
Drive refinancing strategies and capital recycling initiatives
Build and lead a high-performing structured finance team

What We’re Looking For
~10–15+ years of experience in structured/project finance, ideally within energy or infrastructure
~ Proven track record of closing complex financing transactions
~ Deep understanding of renewable energy markets and IPP business models
~ Strong financial modelling and commercial acumen
~ Established network across lenders and investors
~ Leadership experience with the ability to influence at executive level
