Experteer Overview As Principal Engineer evolving into an Architect role, you will define and steer the Merchant Experience platform architecture and technical direction. You will shape cross-team standards, guide architects and engineering groups, and drive high-impact solutions at scale. You’ll mentor engineers, provide hands-on guidance with POCs, and ensure architectural coherence with the broader platform strategy. - Own solutions and technical direction within the Merchant Experience pillar
- Make architecture decisions and review design docs to align with platform strategy and practices
- Contribute to engineering-wide strategy through the Architecture Council
- Guide development teams via POCs, design explanations, and issue resolution

integration)
- Mentor and scale technical influence across multiple teams
- Collaborate with architects to establish cohesive architecture practices and guardrails

- 10+ years of software engineering experience in senior roles (Staff/Principal Engineer, Lead Developer, or Software Architect)
- Expert understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles (theoretical and practical)
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities
- Proven experience in architecture decisions, design documentation, and guiding large-scale platforms
