The Mozilla

Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators all over the world, Mozillians design, build and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms. This role owns the foundation that lets other software drive Firefox: the secure, reliable connection an outside tool or another team uses to act inside the browser, and the building blocks they call to do it.

The opportunity is broad: internal teams (Smart Window, New Products' automated tools), outside AI tools and their users, and web developers. The three share much of the underlying technology, but each reaches its market in a different way. Own the shared foundation and the building blocks it gives other software, and make them reliable and secure.
