Are you passionate about transforming financial data into strategic decisions that drive business success? As a Cost Controller , you will play a key role in the financial planning, monitoring, and control of our resort, ensuring efficient and profitable operations aligned with the excellence standards of Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton. Supporting and contributing to the resort's financial planning and strategic decision-making processes.

Analysing financial data, market trends, and performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and business growth. Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans. Monitoring and analysing actual financial results against forecasts and budgets, providing recommendations to maximise profitability.

Developing initiatives to optimise costs, improve margins, and strengthen the property's return on investment. Maintaining effective financial controls and procedures to mitigate business risks. Collaborating closely with the Finance and Accounting team to ensure accurate financial management and reporting.

Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports in compliance with corporate and legal requirements. Monitoring the accuracy of the Profit & Loss (P&L;) statement,



ensuring revenues and costs are properly recorded and allocated. Assisting with internal, external, and regulatory audits, ensuring any corrective actions are implemented where necessary.

Ensuring compliance with all applicable financial, accounting, tax, and legal regulations. Preparing financial reports, business analyses, and presentations for senior leadership. Supporting the Finance leadership team by providing financial insights and recommendations on operational and business matters.

Participating in meetings with stakeholders and management teams, providing clear analysis and context regarding financial performance. Ensuring compliance with Marriott International's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Local Standard Operating Procedures (LSOPs). Supporting the development of team members through training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Previous experience in finance, cost control, accounting, or similar financial roles, preferably within the hospitality industry or an international organisation. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, cost control, auditing, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial management systems. Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages will be considered an asset. A valid work permit for Spain.
