Position: Java Software EngineerLocation: Madrid, SpainJob Type: PermanentJob Mode: Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in a weekSkills / Responsibilities:• Design and own end-to-end solutions for claims management systems• Translate business requirements from claims operations into scalable technical designs• Define system architecture, integration patterns, and data flow with upstream/downstream systems (policy, payments, third-party vendors)• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and compliance standards• Guide QA and peers on claims-specific logic and edge cases• Align technical solutions with claims operational workflows• Develop and review high-quality, maintainable, and secure code• Perform and lead code reviews• Write unit, integration, and automated tests• Support reporting, MI, and analytics needs• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis• Provide effort estimates and technical feasibility assessments• Improve deployment of pipelines (CI/CD)
