Experteer Overview In this Senior Software Engineer role, you’ll shape AI-assisted workflows inside Datadog Notebooks, collaborating with product and design to deliver platforms for analysis and context discovery. You’ll connect deterministic product capabilities with LLM-powered experiences to provide trustworthy, explainable outcomes. You’ll work across Notebooks and adjacent surfaces, enabling knowledge to be retrieved and reused across Datadog products. - Lead the design and delivery of AI-powered product experiences for Notebooks and related surfaces
- Build systems that blend deterministic product features with LLM-enabled experiences to ensure trustworthy customer outcomes
- Partner with Product Managers to translate user problems and roadmap goals into concrete technical decisions




- Create integrations enabling Datadog capabilities to run within third-party AI platforms and conversational environments
- Provide technical leadership and establish AI engineering best practices

- 6+ years of engineering experience
- Hands-on production AI-powered products and customer-facing experiences using LLM technologies
